Updated on **2 October 2026** · Agency websites reviewed on 2 October 2026

**Which is the best web agency in France in 2026? We examined thirteen agencies on 2 October 2026 and kept ten, ranked together with Astrak.** Brochure site, redesign, online store, custom platform: needs differ completely from one project to the next, and so do agencies. So we compared what each one does itself (UX, design, development), the technologies it masters, the projects and results it publishes, and the prices it displays.

Astrak is the author of this ranking and places itself third, with one important caveat: Astrak does not build websites. It is a web performance agency, handling search rankings, visibility in AI engines, Google Ads, technical work and redesign support, alongside the agencies that build the sites. The ten other agencies in the ranking do design and develop. The criteria are detailed below so you can judge the ranking for yourself.

## Our criteria for ranking web agencies

The thirteen agencies we examined are the ones that come up most often in about ten French rankings and directories (Sortlist, La Fabrique du Net, Trustfolio, lists published by agencies). Each website was reviewed on 2 October 2026 and we only kept what is written there: no private statements, no scores based on intuition. No ranking is neutral, ours included, since we publish it and appear in it. Here are the four criteria, from most to least decisive.

#### 1. Projects and results

Sites delivered for named clients, and what became of them after launch: traffic, leads, sales, with the period.

#### 2. Expertise and technologies

UX, design, development: what the agency does itself, and on which CMSs or technologies.

#### 3. Autonomy and support

Who publishes after delivery, who owns the code and the accounts, and what the agency offers once the site is live.

#### 4. Price and transparency

A price, a range or a public plan, and announced timelines. Without a reference point, two quotes cannot be compared.

## [Gemeos](https://www.gemeosagency.com/en)

Web agency: design, development and growth

Gemeos is a web agency founded by twin brothers Sandro and Sacha Da Silva. It presents itself as a business partner rather than a simple vendor: its goal is to turn the website into a driver of growth, acquisition and conversion, not just to deliver it. The team covers strategy, UX/UI, branding, development, SEO and GEO, copywriting, tracking and conversion optimisation. It works with Webflow, WordPress and headless architectures (Astro and Sanity), on new builds, redesigns and migrations, for companies such as Finary, Lemlist, Modjo, Paradox, Homunity and Oliverlist. The agency reports more than 250 companies supported and a rating of 4.9/5 from 97 reviews.

Its projects are documented step by step. For Modjo, the agency carried out the full redesign (art direction, mockups, Webflow development) in six weeks, and the client reports an engagement rate up 58%. For Finary, the migration to Webflow brought the blog, the glossary and the news into a single CMS, with a component system that lets the Growth team publish on its own. SEO and GEO are taken into account from the design stage, and each client gets a portal showing project progress, hours used and site performance. The plans are public: €2,600, €4,800 or €6,800 excl. VAT a month depending on the number of hours, and they can be paused or stopped at any time.

#### Strengths

- Design, development, search and conversion in one team.
- Several technologies mastered: Webflow, WordPress, headless.
- Client teams made autonomous for publishing.
- Public plans and prices, client portal to follow the project.
- New builds, redesigns and migrations.

#### Points to watch

- Published plans are monthly subscriptions: for a one-off project, the price is on request.
- Published results are mostly client testimonials, with few before-and-after figures.

## [Feel and Clic](https://www.feelandclic.com/agence-web-paris)

Independent web agency in Paris since 2009

Feel and Clic is an independent web agency founded in Paris in 2009, with a team of 30. It puts UX design at the centre of its projects and develops with open-source technologies (Symfony, Drupal, WordPress), with service pages for Webflow, Shopify and headless CMSs. Its references are mostly large accounts and institutions: the Louvre Museum, Dassault Systèmes, Ramsay Santé, AXA, Sorbonne Université.

The agency publishes results client by client. For MINES Paris PSL, a site launched in January 2024, it reports 13% more organic traffic in the first months and publishing time divided by three. For AFT, the bounce rate was halved and contact requests rose by 15%. Price ranges are public: between €10,000 and €40,000 for a brochure site, from €40,000 for a custom e-commerce site. The agency states that it offers no subscription that would make the client dependent on it.

#### Strengths

- UX design at the centre of every project.
- Results with figures published client by client.
- Price ranges displayed by type of project.
- No imposed subscription, deliverables handed over to the client.

#### Points to watch

3

## [Astrak](https://astrak.agency/en/)

Web performance agency: SEO, GEO, Google Ads, redesigns

Astrak is a French agency of 12 people, specialised in web performance. It does not design or develop websites: it takes care of what gets them found and what they bring in. Its services cover organic search (technical, content, links), visibility in AI engines with its [GEO service](https://astrak.agency/en/geo-agency/), [Google Ads](https://astrak.agency/en/google-ads-agency/) campaigns, measurement with Google Analytics 4 and [redesign support](https://astrak.agency/en/seo-redesign-agency/) and migrations. It works with the client’s web agency or developers, on WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or PrestaShop.

On a build or a redesign, Astrak steps in before the mockups and stays until after launch: site structure, technical specification, redirect plan, acceptance testing before going live, then monitoring for 30 to 45 days. Its results come with figures and dates. MyBrocante went from under 1,000 to 70,000 organic visits a month between January and September 2025 (source: Ahrefs), through site architecture work alone. Sixty8, seven sites in six countries including five stores rebuilt on PrestaShop, gained 42% in organic clicks in one year. Inter-Car is the first car scrapper recommended by ChatGPT. The agency displays a price: from €900 a month, with an average budget of €2,000 a month.

#### Strengths

- All performance channels in one place: SEO, GEO, Google Ads, technical work, measurement.
- Works directly with the client’s web agency and developers.
- Dated results with figures.
- Public starting price, 4.9/5 from more than 50 Trustfolio reviews.

#### Points to watch

- Does no design or development: you need a web agency or a technical team to build the site.
- A team of 12: the number of projects handled at the same time is limited.

## What makes a good website in 2026

**A measurable goal before the first screen.** Quote requests, bookings, sales, job applications: a site is designed from what it has to produce. The mockups come next, and each page is judged by what it brings to that goal.

**A design built for the people who use it.** Simple journeys, well-ordered content, pages that read well on mobile. Agencies that test their mockups with real users say so in their case studies, as Sweet Punk does for the Garance site.

**A technology chosen for the people who will publish.** WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or a headless architecture can all produce a good site. The right choice depends on who will update the site, how often, and with which connected tools. Our comparison of [WordPress and Webflow](https://astrak.agency/en/wordpress-vs-webflow-which-is-better-for-seo/) details the differences.

**A fast and accessible site.** Loading time, page weight and accessibility are decided in the code, not afterwards. Ask the agency for the scores of its latest delivered sites, measured on real pages and not only on the home page.

**Visibility prepared from the start.** The site structure is decided with your customers’ searches in front of you. In a redesign, a [redirect plan](https://astrak.agency/en/redirection-plan/) maps each old address to the new one: in our experience, a redesign carried out without this precaution can lose up to 60 to 70% of the traffic coming from Google. AI engines such as ChatGPT read the site too, and are more likely to name a brand whose pages clearly answer the questions asked.

**Reliable measurement from day one.** Data that was not collected cannot be recovered. [Conversion tracking](https://astrak.agency/en/google-analytics-tracking-agency/) is set up before launch, to know which pages and which channels produce leads.

## How much does a web agency cost in France in 2026?

Six agencies out of eleven display a price or a range. For a brochure site, Studio Elias indicates €5,000 to €20,000 on Webflow, Pilot’in €5,000 to €50,000 on WordPress, and Feel and Clic €10,000 to €40,000. Gemeos works with monthly plans, from €2,600 to €6,800 excl. VAT a month depending on the number of hours. For an e-commerce site or a custom application, Yield Studio starts at €20,000 and €40,000, and Feel and Clic places custom e-commerce from €40,000.

Sweet Punk, Galadrim, Kaliop, Colorz and Digital Cover work on quotation. The visibility budget (search, advertising) comes on top of the site budget: at Astrak, support starts at €900 a month.

Also plan for the costs that follow launch: hosting, maintenance, licences, changes and content production. A site that is cheaper to build but that your teams cannot edit on their own quickly becomes more expensive.

## How to choose a web agency: five questions to ask

**Can you show me sites delivered for companies like mine?** Look at the live sites, not only the mockups, and ask what they produced after launch, for which client and over which period.

**Who works on my project?** Have it stated who designs, who develops, what is done in-house and what is subcontracted, and who your day-to-day contact will be.

**Will I be able to edit the site without you?** Ask who publishes the pages, who owns the code, the domain name and the accounts, and what happens if you change provider.

**What happens after launch?** Maintenance, fixes, changes, measurement of results. In a redesign, also ask what happens to your current traffic and who handles the redirects.

**How much does the site cost, and how much does what comes next cost?** A quote without maintenance, hosting or changes only tells half of the budget.

## Frequently asked questions about web agencies

### Which is the best web agency in France in 2026?

It depends on the project. As of 2 October 2026, three names stand out on our criteria: Gemeos for a marketing site designed, developed and followed by one team, on Webflow, WordPress or headless; Feel and Clic for UX design, with published results and prices; Astrak for the performance of the site (search rankings, AI engines, Google Ads, redesigns), alongside the agency that builds it.

### What is a web agency?

A web agency designs, develops and maintains websites: brochure sites, online stores, platforms or applications. Depending on its size, it adds brand strategy, design, copywriting, maintenance or traffic acquisition.

### How much does a website built by a web agency cost?

Among the agencies in this ranking that display their prices, a brochure site costs between €5,000 and €50,000 depending on its size and how custom it is. An e-commerce site or a custom application starts between €20,000 and €40,000. Some agencies, such as Gemeos, offer monthly plans from €2,600 excl. VAT.

### WordPress, Webflow or headless: which should you choose?

WordPress suits sites that publish a lot and need many features. Webflow gives marketing teams more autonomy over design and pages. A headless architecture makes sense for high-traffic sites, in several languages or connected to many tools.

### How long does it take to build or redesign a website?

The agencies in this ranking announce 3 to 12 weeks for a brochure site, and several months for an e-commerce site or a custom platform. The timeline mostly depends on the number of pages, the content to produce and how fast the client approves each step.

### What is the difference between a web agency and a web performance agency?

The web agency builds the site: UX, design, development. The web performance agency takes care of what the site brings in: Google rankings, visibility in AI engines, advertising, measurement of results. Some agencies do both; otherwise the two work together, as Astrak does with its clients’ web agencies.

## Planning a website build or redesign?

We work with your web agency so that the site gets found and brings in business: search rankings, AI engines, Google Ads, measurement of results.
