Sixty8 : +42% in organic clicks across 7 sites and 6 countries
How Astrak drove the SEO growth of a galaxy of European e-commerce sites by redesigning five of its stores and cutting its average ranking across all markets by more than half.
June-August 2025 versus June-August 2026, comparing strictly identical months.
The client: the Sixty8 galaxy
Sixty8 is a European legal cannabinoid player that operates a network of country-specific online stores, each with its own domain, language, catalog, and regulatory framework. Added to this network are two satellite brands: Magic Farmers, product-oriented, and Green Brothers, the wholesale structure based in Switzerland.
The network sites
The initial challenge
When Astrak takes over the file, Sixty8 doesn't have a volume problem: the galaxy is already generating 23,000 organic clicks per month and more than 500,000 impressions. It has a problem of visibility quality. The weighted average position is 28.1 across all markets, and the click-through rate peaks at 4.5%. In other words: the sites appear frequently at the bottom of the page for search queries that do not convert.
The most telling case is France. In June 2025, sixty8.fr It has accumulated 260,000 impressions and 2,156 clicks, for a click-through rate of 0.83%. The site appears frequently in search results for irrelevant queries but is virtually absent from the queries that matter.
To this are added three structural constraints. The legal cannabinoid sector closes the door to paid advertising on almost all ad networks, which makes growth rely on organic means. Each market has its own domain, its own regulatory framework, and its own product vocabulary—making any «copy-paste» strategy from one country to another ineffective. Finally, some of the shops were running on aging versions of PrestaShop, with the performance issues and technical debt that implies.

LinkedInStocks performed
The strategy deployed on Sixty8 does not consist of replicating a single plan across seven sites, but rather of treating each market according to its maturity, while circulating knowledge and best practices from one country to another.
Migration of five network sites to the latest version of PrestaShop, accompanied by a visual redesign, resulting in a net performance gain.
A country-specific plan, aligned with local product vocabulary and the national regulatory framework, rather than a translation of the German plan.
Exclusion of high-volume, non-buying-intent queries in favor of truly transactional category and product queries.
Creation and redesign of pages targeting commercial queries for each market, with differentiated treatment by country.
Link acquisition campaigns conducted domain by domain, with centralized monitoring of costs and source quality.
Implementation of reporting that aggregates the seven Search Console properties into a single view, an essential prerequisite for prioritizing between markets.

The trajectory of the galaxy
Here is the monthly total of organic clicks for the seven websites, from June 2025 to August 2026. The first few months serve as a baseline: traffic is stable, and the groundwork is underway. The turnaround begins in January 2026, and the peak is reached in July 2026 with 39,181 clicks for the month. Between the first and last months of the curve, the network gains 55% clicks.

The results: market by market
The comparison covers two strictly identical quarters year-over-year—June-August 2025 versus June-August 2026—in order to completely neutralize seasonality.

Two lines deserve a comment. The France is the strongest growth in the network: traffic has been multiplied by more than three and the click-through rate by four, confirming that the initial problem was not visibility but mismatch. The’Germany, on the other hand, has remained stable in terms of volume—but its average position has dropped from 32.2 to 12.8, and its click-through rate has risen from 6.4% to 10.5%: the market has stabilized, not lost momentum. It’s the same traffic, achieved with far fewer unnecessary impressions.
Fewer impressions, more clicks
This is the mission’s most counterintuitive—and most defining—finding. Over the same period, the Sixty8 galaxy lost 17% in impressions—from 1,699,496 to 1,411,183—while gaining 42% in clicks.
An impression that never generates a click is worthless. By taking sites out of high-volume queries without purchase intent, we lose impressions and gain traffic. That is exactly what we were looking for.
Non-brand traffic follows the same logic
One might argue that this growth simply reflects Sixty8’s growing brand awareness—and thus an increase in brand-related searches. Non-branded traffic—searches where the user is not yet familiar with the brand—addresses this objection: it has increased by 54%, with 42% fewer impressions. The non-brand click-through rate thus rose from 1.11% to 2.92%, a 2.6-fold increase.
At the same time, trademark-related search queries have increased by 33%. Both curves are rising together: the network is gaining ground on search queries it previously didn’t rank for, and these new visitors, in turn, are boosting the brand’s visibility.
A technical foundation refreshed
No amount of semantic work can sustainably compensate for an aging technical foundation. Five stores in the network were therefore migrated to the latest version of PrestaShop, followed immediately by a visual redesign. The sites' performance has improved markedly—a gain that benefits both SEO and the conversion rate.
The market Romanian was the subject of an additional project: traffic had been spread across several competing domains, but it was consolidated into a single domain. This initiative explains the slight decline in volume in this market, which was largely offset by the improvement in visibility—the average position dropped from 11.4 to 6.4, and the click-through rate rose from 21.2% to 27.5%.
The detail of the three key markets
The three curves below show the Search Console data month by month, over the same period as the consolidated curve.
France — sixty8.fr
2,156 clicks in June 2025, 7,250 in August 2026, with a peak of 7,975 in July. The market with the strongest growth in the network.
Poland sixty8.pl
2,680 clicks in June 2025, 5,064 in August 2026, after a peak at 7,022 in July. Steady growth, with no sudden jumps.
Romania sixty-8.ro
6,165 clicks in June 2025, 8,325 in August 2026. The consolidation onto a single domain did not affect the trajectory.
Methodology and scope
- Unique source : Google Search Console, domain properties, unsampled raw data. The curves are plotted directly from this data, month by month.
- Scope: the 7 active sites in the galaxy, with the historical Romanian domains being counted in the Romanian market total.
- Compared periods: 1he June – August 31, 2025 vs 1he June – August 29, 2026, which represents two strictly identical quarters year-over-year, thereby neutralizing seasonality.
- Average position: weighted by the number of impressions of each site, rather than a flat average, to prevent a small market from weighing as much as a large one.
- Generic exclusion of queries containing variants of network brand names (Sixty8, Magic Farmers, Green Brothers and their variations).
What to remember
In fifteen months, the Sixty8 network grew from 76,811 to 109,001 organic clicks per quarter—a 42% increase—and its weighted average position more than halved, dropping from 28.1 to 12.0. Five of the seven sites have shown significant growth; the sixth has remained stable in terms of volume while climbing twenty spots; and the seventh has been consolidated onto a single domain.
The most interesting point in this file is not the percentage growth but its mechanics: the galaxy has gained traffic while losing raw visibility. It is the sign of work focused on relevance rather than volume—the only growth that lasts in a sector where paid acquisition is closed.
The support continues, with the next initiatives being the scaling up of the Spanish and Swiss markets, which are still lagging behind the potential of their catalogs.
