Updated on 15/10/2026 · Agency sites reviewed on 15/10/2026

What is the best WooCommerce SEO agency in France? On 15 October 2026 we reviewed the websites of about thirty agencies that position themselves on SEO for WooCommerce stores, and we selected nine, ranked alongside Astrak. The main criterion is what each agency publishes: a WooCommerce-specific method (filters, variations, plugins), store case studies with figures and dates, and a price.

No French agency shows an official WooCommerce partnership, and few specify which platform their clients run on. Astrak is the author of this ranking and places itself first: the criteria are detailed below so you can judge for yourself.

Astrak

SEO and GEO agency · WooCommerce catalog, technical and link building

Astrak Website

Astrak is a French SEO and GEO agency of 13 people. Its page WooCommerce SEO agency lists the blocking issues it finds on stores: faceted filters that generate thousands of indexed URLs, product variations that are not canonicalized, conflicting SEO plugins, categories without content, page builders that weigh on Core Web Vitals, deleted products without redirects. Support covers the audit, technical and on-page optimization (including Product and Review schema), catalog architecture and editorial link building, with a monthly check-in with the consultant.

The team works directly in the WordPress and WooCommerce back office, or delivers specifications to your developer if you prefer to keep control. The published case study is ERA Esthetic, a multilingual WooCommerce store in aesthetic medicine present in three markets: from 387 organic clicks in July 2025 to 986 in March 2026, or ×2.5 in eight months. Support has no commitment and starts at €900 per month.

Strengths

  • A method that handles WooCommerce-specific issues: facets, variations, plugins.
  • Direct work in WordPress, or specifications ready for your developers.
  • Multilingual WooCommerce case study with figures and dates.
  • No commitment, public minimum price.

Points to watch

  • Only one WooCommerce case study published to date.
  • SEO agency, not an integrator: theme or plugin development stays with your provider.

Churchill

Web agency, custom WooCommerce redesigns · Paris and Lyon

Churchill website

Churchill is a web agency of 18 people based in Paris and Lyon, part of the Tactee group, which claims 120 redesigns. Its WooCommerce page states the right principle: a store's SEO depends on its structure, meaning categories, facets, internal linking, product templates and structured data.

  • A team able to handle a full redesign.
  • Clear method on facets and crawl budget.
  • Migrations from other platforms.

La Refonte website

La Refonte is a small agency in Pau (a founder, an SEO and GEO project manager, a developer) specialized in building and redesigning sites without losing traffic. On WooCommerce, it handles filter pages and attribute archives based on their actual usefulness rather than with a single rule, checks permalinks and tests the price, stock and image of each variation.

Its Smartwag case study, a WooCommerce store with a custom interface, reports 26,100 clicks and 1.06 million impressions over the twelve months before 4 August 2026, and states itself that these figures serve as a baseline, not as proof of a gain.

  • Nuanced method on filters and variations.
  • WooCommerce case study presented with its limits.
  • Redesigns planned to preserve traffic.

Points to watch

  • Three-person team.
  • No before/after WooCommerce result published yet.

Agencies we reviewed but left out

About thirty agencies and consultants positioned on WooCommerce SEO were reviewed. Several "agence SEO WooCommerce" pages are generic, with no CMS-specific method and no case study: we did not include them. Brioude Internet belongs to the same group as Churchill, at the same addresses; we kept only one of the two. Origine, part of the Orixa Media group, has a decent WooCommerce page but no case study presented as WooCommerce. Capsule B, a solid e-commerce acquisition agency, has a WooCommerce page that is too general to be included here.

Two freelance consultants deserve a mention: Aymeric Maingé (Ad-Tech Paris), whose facets and speed method is the most technical in the panel, and Anthony Magnin in Lyon. They do not fit in an agency ranking. Finally, SeoMix and AmphiBee belong in our WordPress ranking.

WooCommerce-specific SEO pitfalls

WooCommerce turns WordPress into an online store. That is its strength, since everything is configurable, and its weakness: the theme, plugins and page builder can each create SEO problems without anything showing on screen.

Navigation

Faceted filters

Filter plugins generate combinatorial URLs, often by the tens of thousands. Left indexable, they use up Google's crawling and dilute the categories.

Catalog

Variations and deleted products

Variations must point to the parent product page, and removed products to a related page: otherwise the site piles up duplicates and 404 errors.

Plugins

Conflicts

Two active SEO plugins, a theme that writes its own tags, a badly configured cache module: conflicts produce duplicate titles, contradictory canonicals or slow pages.

Performance

The theme and the page builder

A page builder adds layers of code that weigh on Core Web Vitals. The fix ranges from lightening templates to changing the theme.

How do you choose a WooCommerce SEO agency?

WordPress agency or SEO agency? A WordPress agency builds and maintains the store; an SEO agency gets it found. The two jobs overlap on technical work, but not on content or links. For a store that already exists and whose traffic is flat, an SEO agency that can work in WordPress is usually the best choice.

Ask four questions: how do you handle filters and variations? Do you work in the back office or deliver specifications? Which plugins do you recommend, and why? An answer that always adds more plugins is a bad sign. Do you have WooCommerce case studies with figures, with their period?

How much does a WooCommerce SEO agency cost?

€150 to €2,290per month, for SEO support
€500 to €2,000for an audit, depending on the size of the catalog

Among the selected agencies, the monthly SEO support prices shown range from €150 (NEWP, entry level with no commitment) to €2,290 per month (Osyto, twelve-month package). Astrak starts at €900 per month, Premiere.Page at €1,200 excl. VAT, and Onze charges €650 per day. The budget depends mainly on the size of the catalog, the volume of content to produce and link building.

Building or redesigning a store is priced separately: €7,900 for a turnkey store at Osyto, €9,000 excl. VAT at Limbus Studio, from €15,000 for a custom project at Churchill.

No agency paid to appear in this ranking.

Filters, variations, plugins and performance handled explicitly, not a generic SEO page.

Published proof

Named WooCommerce store case studies, with figures and dates.

Transparency

Prices shown, identified team, verifiable track record.

Capacity

Development, migration or ongoing support: what the agency can really take on.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best WooCommerce SEO agency in France?

In our selection of 15/10/2026: Astrak, Onze, Premiere.Page, WeComm, NEWP, Etowline, Osyto, Limbus Studio, Churchill and La Refonte. Three publish WooCommerce case studies with figures: Astrak (ERA Esthetic), Premiere.Page (Garance Store) and WeComm (Melville Design, Adonisse).

How much does SEO for a WooCommerce store cost?

Between €150 and €2,290 per month at agencies that show their prices, most between €900 and €1,200. An audit alone costs €500 to €2,000 depending on the size of the catalog.

Is WooCommerce good for SEO?

Yes, if it is configured properly: WooCommerce gives you control over URLs, tags and content, but its filters, variations and plugins easily create duplicates and slowdowns if no one keeps them in check.

Do you need a WooCommerce agency or an SEO agency?

To build or redesign the store, a WooCommerce integrator. To grow traffic for an existing store, an SEO agency that can work in WordPress. The two must work together during a redesign.
